This hunting lease is leased and not available.
If you are looking for an area with good genetics and want manageable piece of property, this is it. Over a mile of the Lost River bottoms run through this Indiana hunting lease. You are right in the middle of big farm country here! I was not sure what this farm would be by looking at the aerial photos, but once I got here I was amazed. This farm is truly something special. The deer trails are absolutely wore down to mud and I honestly counted 100's of rubs in and along the wood lines. I walked for over 4 hours on this farm and did not cover the whole thing. It is much bigger than what the aerial photo makes it look.
This area has a history of producing some good bucks. Landowner knows of at least 2 deer going over 160+ on this farm and one that was 180"! This farm has not been pressured and the areas around it get little pressure as well. Look at the aerials. If they get any pressure at all from the surrounding wood lots, they are coming to this farm for cover.
The eastern parcel is 118 acres and has some really good terrain to it. The woods are open but there are still a lot of nice thickets that I jumped deer out of. A small pond lays right in the middle of this parcel and should provide a great water source year around. The western tract is 160 acres and although it does not look as good as the eastern half, this is where the landowner says all the big deer get killed. I can see why after walking these woods. They are nasty thick and had some of the best sign on the entire farm. There is a small pond in the northern section by the road.
This place has got everything that you need to harvest a giant buck. This is one of the best properties I have stepped on and I know you are going to have some great success on this Indiana farm. All the fields are in row crops and are rotated between corn and soybeans. Landowner is going to be great to work with and lives right up the road. He grew up on this farm and will be more than willing to show you the best spots to hunt.
*No more than 3 hunters allowed on one parcel at a time.
