This hunting lease is leased and not available. 200 acres in Langlade County. This is a "Deer and Turkey" lease only on a well-managed piece of property. This gently rolling property has a good mix of hardwoods, pine tree plantings, a small pond, and crop ground. This mixture creates a lot of edge opportunities for ambushing deer. Some select tree harvest has recently taken place so there are a few treetops scattered about the timber. The property has several pine tree plantings that are more mature than the aerial shows. These areas seem to be great bedding spots for the local deer herd. There are also grass buffer zones around these plantings that allow great access to all areas of the property. The deer seem to like to use these areas as well. Soybeans are the crop of choice planted this year 2021. As the aerials show this property lies between some bigger blocks of timber to the east and west which can make this a good area to intercept traveling bucks during the rut. A good trail system on the property also allows great access to stand locations. Plenty of deer sign was present when I did my inspection in early June. Trails, tracks, rubs, and beds were all visible during my walk around. The landowner has a couple of ground blinds in place that can be used if so desired. Food plots are a possibility with permission from the landowner as to where. Camping is also a possibility with permission from the landowner. Food and lodging are only minutes away from the property also. Respectful use of ATV's is allowed for hunting related activities when weather and ground conditions permit. The landowner would like initial contact from the hunters. Please respect all property boundaries. No use of nails, screws, or screw in tree steps is allowed. No tree cutting.
