This hunting lease is leased and not available. This is the best small property I have seen in some time!! If it was close to where I live it would be mine to hunt. That is how much I like this property. On inspection there were grass lanes for access to the woods. Fields are in row crops. Access is from the north for the prevailing southwest winds. Once I got to the 10-acre woods it did not look like much�. Until I stepped in. I have not seen this much deer and big buck sign on many of my larger farms. Just look at the big cluster rubs from years past. The woods are rolling, and deer trails were wide and everywhere. On close inspection I see that this woods is the hub of the area with fingers of timber heading to the east and south. There were a few fresh September rubs and scrapes as well. Someone should consistently kill a Slammer here every season. Property is in Holmes County but very close to the Knox County line. Respectful ATV use for hunting purposes only. No camping. Everything you need is not far away in Wooster or Mansfield. If you are a couple hunters looking for a smaller lease in Ohio, you better snatch this one up!!
