This hunting lease is leased and not available. Very remote property with two different types of an 80-acre and 81-acre parcels. The lower 81 acres runs along a good piece of river bottom as it's southern boundary and is filled with overgrowth brush, grass, and cedar thickets (even with some cattle grazing this is still some thick stuff). Many years ago a fire burned through the lower portion now leaving very aged dead cedar trees that are beginning to fall, I do not suggest trying to use such trees with tree stands. As the hillside climbs out of the river the upper 80-acres connects at the northwest boundary of the lower 81 acres. This upper 80 is more rolling pasture with cedar thickets, some drainage, and open pasture. There has recently been some cedar clearing that has created some very nice open areas for dropping that big buck as he cruises across. The views and glassing are what make this property so special, not a typical Nebraska landscape! I saw deer, turkey, and grouse on the property during inspection. This property does get cattle grazing up through September most years. Landowner also does like to do some property maintenance in September for approximately two weeks. Landowner reserves the right to clear cedar trees, this does not happen during hunting season except maybe beginning of September. If a gate is closed always reclose it after going through, closed gates mean there are cattle.
