This hunting lease is leased and not available.
Here is a very nice lease that's secluded and has absolutely no road frontage. Upon entering the property, I jumped up several deer on the northwest side of the property. As I continued walking down the west side, I jumped several more deer. Unfortunately, I did not get any photos. It was 20 degrees with a 17-mph wind and heavy gloves were on. As I made my way toward the south end, I could see why I jumped those deer. There's a nice little valley, and these deer were bedded on the top side of the ridge. As secluded as this farm is, the deer should feel very comfortable coming into the row crop fields during day light hours. The timber on the east side of the farm is very thick with underbrush. Hopefully the photos depict the underbrush enough where you can see just how much cover there is. I really liked this farm and believe it holds a ton of potential. The day I walked the farm, the deer sign completely littered this property, and the photos will show that.
There is a farm road that leads into the north side - (The blue line on the aerial photo shows the farm road) The landowner and the farmer do not want this road torn up. The landowner has requested that you park your truck at the entrance of this road, and either use an ATV or walk back to the property. When I was there, I didn't bring my ATV, so I walked back. It wasn't that bad, but you do have the ATV option.
*Lease runs from 1 March through 15 February.
*Trucks are not permitted to be driven on the property.
*ATV use is permitted for hunting purposes only – absolutely no joy riding.
*The use of Screw-in steps and nails are prohibited
