This hunting lease is in WMU (6A) and located close to Gouverneur. This lease is part of an old farm. Deer and turkey are seen often. There are about 76 acres of woods and cover . There are 63 acres of fields (3 different spots). The 2 acre field on west border has some really nice clover and I found lots of deer beds. I inspected the woods just off this field and found some nice trails and tracks. The west border is a seasonal road where there is a nice access into the property. There are several small gravel pits with a lot of tracks and deer sign around them. The woods to the east along the creek is very thick and will be where the deer bed/hide. Tthe woods to the NW is more mature. Plenty of spots to put stands around the fields and the gravel pit area. There are some scattered apple trees as well along edges of the field. Landowner will allow ATV use and camping for hunting purposes only. You can post the property if you would like. When you inspect this property you will find lots of deer sign! Should be an easy property to hunt.
