This hunting lease is leased and not available. Walked and drove this great Woods County Property. South boundary of the property backs up to the Cimarron River. The property is listed as 820 acers but actually bigger from where the river moves the boundary from time to time. Walking this property, I noticed several deer along the heavy cover near the riverbank. The west end of the property has some big timber along with some heavy cover where I also saw several deer moving around. The mountain that backs up behind the property has heavy cover all over the hillside and the draws running around the hill has heavy cover also. When I drove to the top of the ridge on the mountain there were 6 deer bedded down on top. Seen two coveys of quail and heard more while walking the heavy cover and jumped a pheasant. This will be a great lease for some hunters to take a trophy buck. Landowner says the guy that hunts across the river only shoots trophy deer and he says he has no trouble doing it. Also, if you're looking for a mule deer, there are some in the area to hunt. For you waterfowl hunters you have a lot of river bottom to waterfowl hunt if you desire to do so. There are some good spots that I noticed while walking the banks.

This will make a great lease for a group of hunters.
