Just take a quick look and lock it down! You will be hunting 135-ac in Metcalfe County, and I must tell you. According to the sign I found while here, there appears to be a sizable deer herd in this area. There is a good network of trails to get you around the place, and you can hunt both sides of the road and have good frontage for entry points. The landowners live on the property and keep a sharp eye on it. There may be crops here in the future as they are considering leasing the rights on that. However, the neighbor happens to have rotating crops right next to your lease, so no problem. Right now, the fields are a bit overgrown, but the deer like them. I had no trouble getting around on foot here, but there is a roll to some areas of the property. Check out the dead head I found down the street for potential bucks in this area.
