This hunting lease is leased and not available. Here is a really nice wooded track in Unit 2A in an area known for good bucks. This property is only 35 mins from Pittsburgh and a short ride off the interstate. Upon day of inspection I could not believe the number of large buck rubs I found, especially along the top. I did bump a good buck bedded between the main road and quad trail. Do not overlook this area, it had a lot of sign, and I found a few beds in some old blow down tree tops. Also, I bumped two does with fawns below the small grass field on top. There is a good quad trail that runs from the main gate that goes all across the top. I also found a lot of turkey sign on the northeast side of the property. The woods are thick here with good bedding and cover. The woods are made up of mostly cherry and oak with some ash and beech spread out. There is an old logging road that is overgrown and goes down the northeast side of the property, but a little work would open it up. There is a nice small grass field along the quad trail that the deer are using. There is also an old treestand there that you can use at your own risk, or move if you like. This property will hunt bigger than it looks.

By the entrance the landowner has about an acre and a half where she raises goats, turkeys, and donkeys. She has a storage building there and all of the animals are penned in. She would like that area off limits. The Landowner would like notification prior to going to inspection of the property. You can do this by calling me at 315-546-4000. The landowner would like NO gun hunting within 100yds of the enclosures. Atv use is allowed for setting stands and game harvest only. You can repost property with fresh signs (get with landowner for what he wants on them). Also Raccoon Creek State Park, consisting of over 7000 acres, is nearby and lodging is only 15mins away in Chester.
