This hunting lease is leased and not available. All of 3+ connected sections adding up to 2082 acres of mule deer, antelope, and predator hunting. A beautiful Western Nebraska ranch containing a little bit of everything. Bluffs and canyons on 600 acres. A herd of 30-40 mule deer live in the bluffs. There is farm ground with 1.5 miles of tree rows (shelter belt) that holds pheasants. There is a lot of pasture ground that does have cattle grazing at times, very typical of almost all these Western Nebraska ranches. Plenty of open countryside to glass for game. You can count on deer coming to and from the pivot on this property and the neighboring meadows across the road. I spotted multiple big groups of deer crossing the road or feeding in the meadows. Another opportunity out in this part of the state is antelope hunting, I saw many of these in the immediate area and a couple nice bucks. I would say hunting the secluded hilltop meadow back in the far Northwest part of this lease would be great for speed goats, especially when they rut in September. The pivot, partially surrounded by the shelter belt, makes great habitat for deer hunting and is key for drawing and holding game, this is gun hunting made easy. A couple elevated enclosed blinds would be ideal around the shelter belt overlooking the pivot. Once the bucks begin rutting, they will be coming into this property from all directions to start working on these big groups of does. I would like to see how big these herds of deer get in the late season winter months! There is a few pasture and field entrances to this ranch which can be posted as leased hunting, this will turn the property into a game filled private hunting property, lots of topography on this lease to adventure into.
