This hunting lease is leased and not available.
This is a lease that offers numerous opportunities, from deer to duck hunting, and it was absolutely covered up with deer sign, from heavily used trails, rubs, scrapes, and I even found a couple of sheds the day I was there walking it. The timber has a very good underbrush that allows the deer to feel comfortable traveling through, and to and from this farm. The farm is made up of timber, row crops, old pasture ground, and water, as there is a stream that runs through the property. Because of this stream there are a couple of places where it creates a natural funnel, and the deer trails tell me they are using them. Plus, having water during the pre-rut and rut will also be beneficial. The timber in between the two ponds is where I jumped several deer, and they ran straight north. They didn't go far, as I ended up jumping them again on my way back out. As I continued to the larger pond and crested the dike, I watched about 10 to 15 mallards fly off. Again, there is a number of opportunities this lease offers and the best part, it lies in a phenomenal county where there have been some very nice mature bucks recently harvested.
