This hunting lease is leased and not available. This property is split into two parts by a paved county road. The north side of the paved road starts with a row crop field that ends along the northern boundary where there is also native grass and steep terrain. Across the fence is the beautiful Missouri River, you can see South Dakota from there. Along that boundary there are many deer trails coming across the fence and into the crops, it's basically a massive food plot with some excellent look out points. Also, on the north part of the farm is a very thick patch of woods containing steep slopes dropping into a creek bottom, ridge trails and buck rubs throughout that patch of woods. The southern part of the farm from the paved road has more crops, this field appeared to be a cover crop during my inspection, another good food source for game. When I pulled into the private road that runs along the southern boarder the turkeys were in the middle of their morning fly down, it was a lot of noise on the ground and coming out of the trees, I could also see in the woods a Tom strutting in front of some of the hens already on the ground. Plenty of deer sign leading into the thicket draws, likely headed to water and some crops. There is some grazed pasture on the south side but defiantly not over grazed, appeared to be only top half of pasture grazed. If you see some blinds in my property photos, please note these will not be available for use and will be removed from the property at some point. Overall, this lease is filled with deer and turkey and could support a lot of hunting, fill those tags and freezers, and also bag a trophy!
