This hunting lease is located in WMU(6R) and is about 10 miles east of Utica. The property breaks down with about 57 acres of woods and 34 acres of tillable farm fields. There is only one way into this property and it is at the designated parking spot. The field goes uphill to the east. The east border is a 1000 acre plus state forest. There was lots of deer sign in the field. In the south-east corner there is an old apple orchard. The woods, north of the field, is a huge wooded ravine that narrows and deepens as it goes east. The north-east corner borders more working farm fields. Landowner stated he sees deer and turkey regularly in the fields. There are a couple stands on property. You can use at your own risk. Landowner will allow ATV use for hunting purposes only. No camping. Landowner would like property posted-get with him with what he wants on posted signs. Do not ride ATV in working farm fields! The fields are wet right now so until it dries out please only walk while inspecting this property (otherwise you will rut up his working farm field). This area is known for an abundant deer herd.
