Base Camp Leasing has a 165 acre hunting lease available for immediate lease in St Lawrence County, New York. This hunting lease is located in WMU (6a) and is about 30 miles north of Watertown. The property is a nice mixture of woods and fields. The woods are series of small rolling hills, ridges and bottoms. The fields have several wet areas where I scared up ducks and geese. there are a few scattered apple trees. This could be an awesome property with the addition of food plots. After walking property I contacted landowner and asked him if he would be willing to put in food plots. He said he would! Recommend lease before they get put in because price will go up for lease once finished. He has all the equipment. The landowner would like to discuss with hunters on what to plant and where. He is in this for the long haul. I recommended 3 plots about 1 to 2 acres in size to him. There are several different hidden fields. Landowner stated he sees turkey every time he goes to the property. I attached a TOPO map to show the small hills, ridges and bottoms. They make great stand locations (like a bowl). This lease has lots of road frontage. ATV use and camping are allowed for hunting purposes. Camper has to be removed after hunting season. You can post property.
