This hunting lease is leased and not available. I am always on the lookout for great hunting spots, and I found one here. This property is just outside the town of Delaware and close to Alum Creek State Park. Landowner says there is a history of great bucks taken from this property, and the sign I found here confirms some studs roam the area. Just check out all the big rubs I found, and the buck pictures provided!!! There are about 15-acres of woods which were lightly select cut around 2019. Now there are plenty of bedding areas and open areas in the woods to make for a great hunt. Check out the heavy deer trails in the photos. I jumped multiple deer on inspection. Even though it is close to the city, the woods sit well off the road and hidden where no one can see. The fields are in row crops and most of the fence rows are slowly being removed, and may be gone by now. I accessed along the tracks on the east side, which is perfect for the prevailing westerly winds. Plenty of stand trees and some nice oaks left in the woods. The woods are connected to another 20-acres of woods next door. There are RR tracks on the north and east boundaries, making for a couple beautiful hidden fields. Delaware County has some of the best whitetail genetics in the State. Someone is going to take a slammer here!! No Camping and respectful ATV use for hunting purposes only. Everything you need is within minutes. I get hunters begging me for properties in Delaware County, and here should be a good one!!!
