This hunting lease is leased and not available.
Rare find hunting lease in Trempealeau County. Trempealeau County may just be one of the very best in Wisconsin for trophy deer and thus also one of the hardest to find leases in. This 180-acre deer and turkey hunting lease has a running creek bottom along the eastern side that run into timbered acres on northeastern corner. Another section of timber on northern boundary as well. Bucks love to run these creeks during the rut and I would expect the same on this lease. Agricultural fields fill in the remaining acres, all of which should hold deer throughout the year.
This is a deer and turkey hunting lease. Landowner owns all the most of the properties that borders this parcel to the west and south. Camping requires permission from the landowner as to where and when. This is not guaranteed as he is concerned that camping does not interfere in anyway with farming activities but is willing to discuss. I did not see any spots for food plots as all tillable ground is already in crops. If you find an area that is not tilled and might make for a small food plot, the landowner is willing to discuss that as well. Respectful use of ATV for hunting related activities is okay if weather and ground conditions permit, but the landowner wants to remind you that no crops can be destroyed in any way.
Landowner does reserve the right to control the coyote population and hunt them once deer seasons are over. You are allowed to as well, but landowner wanted me to state he and whoever he lets do this each year is allowed. Not trying to give you the impression the area is overrun with coyotes just that the landowner wants to keep the population numbers low.
