Spring Turkey, Archery and Muzzle Loader deer hunting lease in Crawford County. Located in the southwestern part of Crawford County lies this 119-acre property that has miles of trails going through majority of the timbered ridges and valleys. Agricultural fields on the southern side along with access there as well.
The landowner lives in Illinois and purchased this property approximately 5 years ago. He and his family do rifle hunt the property for deer, but are offering up the spring turkey, archery, and muzzle loader deer hunting rights to Base Camp member hunters. I really enjoyed my time with the landowner as he is passionate about the property and improving it for the benefit of wildlife.
No real opportunity for food plots yet, but landowner does intend to seek smaller plots in the timbered ground. Numerous stands are already in place on the property (use at your own risk).
As previously mentioned, this is a spring turkey, archery, and muzzle loader deer hunting lease. Landowner retains the rifle deer hunting rights. Thus, the early season archery rights end the Sunday before opening day of rifle season to give the property a week to rest before then. Use of ATV for hunting related activities is also okay. No camping allowed at this time.
