23 acre all legal game hunting lease in Barron County. On the western side of Barron County lies this 23-acre hunting lease. I was not overly excited to go look at this property after looking at the aerial, but the landowner had another 40 acres just north of this one. I drove around the southern and western side and got more intrigued. Went for a walk and left feeling this could be a sleeper spot perfect for Father and a child to have their own place to hunt. Valley runs through the center of the timber that one does not really see from the road. Pretty thick browse and bedding combined with some apple trees and I left feeling lucky to be able to lease this property to one of our member hunters.

According to the landowner, they have not allowed anyone to hunt the property for many years. I did not see any evidence of old stands on the property during my inspection.

All legal game is yours to hunt. No real place for food plots that I could see, so those are not allowed but you have agricultural fields all around this parcel. No real place to camp either, but Cumberland is only a few miles away. Use of ATV for hunting related activities is okay. Since there are a few houses around the property, landowner does not want any rifles used for deer hunting. Shotgun or muzzle loader can be used but no rifles during the 9 day traditional firearm deer season.
