This is one of my favorite tracts to have walked in quite some time. Why, you ask? Not only does the habitat diversity have all you need in a hunting tract but I seen 6 deer during my walk, not a one of them spooked by my presence! Thick planted pines, large hardwood bottoms, two creek frontage SMZs, internal roads, and some of the most excellent water oak filled bottomlands are just a few features this tract has to offer. With minimal work, one large food plot could be established in the heart of the property. The coolest feature of this property is a unique 2 acre circle of standing hardwoods left in its core. This hardwood hub is comprised entirely of mature water oaks, all dropping like rain and being hammered by the deer. I walked right up on 3 does in here that just watched me walk by. Bring that bow asap and get on this spot!
This tract offers a considerable amount of elevation change throughout also. In fact, a large ridge along the southern portion of the tract is entirely timbered in nothing but white oaks!
