This hunting lease is leased and not available.
Just wait until you set your feet and eyes on this mostly woodland lease located in the Boone and Crockett County of Ohio, in Western KY. You'll be hunting 289 acres of old mining ground. Much of the timber is large and the property is currently being reviewed for a wildlife management plan and timber management plan. In the future, there will likely be a select cut, which should help create additional access across the lease. You have numerous areas in which to enter the lease, look at the aerials for potential entry points. I ran a cell cam for a bit in an area of the lease and there is at least one buck using the property around 140" that made it through this past season. I found numerous rubs as you can see. Some areas will be a little more difficult to access due to terrain but I walked into those areas so you can too. There was deer sign everywhere I looked. Plenty of water and that should never be an issue here. Crops to the north on your neighbors should help ensure your local herd has some additional nutrition close by annually. The lease has a feel about it when you start getting into the timber. I expect good things to happen here. Ohio County is in my top counties to harvest a booner and has produced more than 30 through the years.
There are some steep spots on this property so be watchful. If I was currently looking for a lease I would have likely taken this one. You'll get the "feeling" when you first set foot on the property, mark my words.
