When the landowner reached out to list this one for you guys, I knew exactly where it was and what to expect. You will be on this very active 80-ac Monroe County Kentucky Hunting Lease. We have another lease across the road from this one and this is an area you may want to consider hunting. The pic shows the kind of bucks in this area. It is mostly steep along the road frontage but I was told there are two crossings the deer use between the ridges. You will need a saw the first time in to clear a tree down, but I was able to go around to reach the bottom and hollow below. From top to bottom, I found deer sign easily along with some nice rubs. Two scrapes had been scratched out within the last 24 hours, see pics. There is a creek in the bottom so an endless water source here. Trails were very evident across this lease so deciding an ambush location should be easy. Good timber here with hardwoods in the mix, and a few cedars here and there. Long shots are possible from certain spots I saw so bring a tripod with you.
