This hunting lease is leased and not available. Here we have 78 acres of crop fields and woods for lease in Gratiot County, MI. The landowner of this property needs help, there are too many deer! They're really damaging the crops in recent years and he's looking for a group to come in and help thin the herd. This tract sets up nicely for archery and firearms hunters to set up on the deer and turkeys coming out of the bedding areas to feed in the crop fields. Deer sign was abundant when I walked the property. I found several old rubs with multiple trails and deer beds in the snow. The stream next to the bedding thicket looks like a really good spot to set up and hunt. This lease is split into two appx 40 acre pieces right down the road from one another. Camping is allowed during hunting season on the Southern portion of the lease near the old homestead. Deer and turkey hunting only is allowed. ATV use is allowed for hunting purposes but only when crop field conditions allow with no damage.
