The property is bordered along its Northern edge by the Conemaugh River, which is known for good Walleye and Crappie fishing. The Southern edge follows the Norfolk Southern tracks. The large rail berm creates a good safety barrier to the adjacent road. The property is a transitional forest area with great alluvial soil and scattered Sycamore, Beech, Birch, and other mast trees along the property. There is also plenty of forage in the area, with red briar, wild grapes, and other grasses. Several streams cross the property creating a variety of wetland areas, so definitely be prepared for water crossings. On the morning I inspected the property, there had been an overnight snowfall. There were plentiful deer tracks and bedding areas visible in the snow. Game trails crisscross the entire lease area. This property has exciting potential and has easy access along the road frontage.
