This hunting lease is leased and not available. This 79-acre property is located in Mount Vernon, Kentucky, Rockcastle County. This hunting lease is made up of 3 nice properties, all within a mile of each other. The property to the west is a 20-acre property that climbs up to a cedar edge that runs along a fence. The property has a small pond on the northeast side that the deer used. I saw a large deer on the SW corner of the property when I inspected the property in early March. I found numerous game trails coming into this property from all sides. This property is almost all field with trees on the property line that you can put stands in. The second property is 34 acres, 25% fields, and 75% woods; I found at least a dozen deer beds in the field when I inspected it in May 2024. A nice stream on the western edge and multiple game-crossing trails enter the fields. There is an elevated hunting blind that you may use, use at your own risk I did not go in it. I found multiple large rubs on the edge of the fields, and the woods have numerous oaks and thickets. The third property is directly across the street. This property is made up of all hardwoods. This is a nice area with multiple ledges that the game was definitely using; I found some nice rubs and some old ground scrapes on multiple sides of this lease. A road on the west side and the north side of the property gives you quick and easy access to the lease. This very nice property gives you multiple options for some amazing hunts. The landowner is very nice and will help you with food plots or whatever you need.
