This property consists of different aged timber. Around 80 acres was clear cut in 2003 and has regrown naturally. 30 acres along the top of the mountain peak was select cut in 2022 due to having a lot of timber falling in that area. The remaining 165 acres or so consists of mature hardwood timber. This area holds plenty of large white and red oaks that will be a huge draw when mast is dropping.

This property is at the base of the larger mountains leading up to the Blue Ridge Parkway. The deer will be traveling through this property to get to fields in the lower areas to the east and the south. 3 deck landings have been kept clear by the landowner and are cut twice a year. They could be planted as excellent food plots if desired. A good road system is in place and the main roads are kept clear and cut twice a year by the landowner. Outlying roads can be accessed by ATV but may need a little clearing.

In touring this property I found an abundance of tracks, plenty of slick trails working up and down the mountain. This area has a good deer density and a solid Turkey population.
