This hunting lease is leased and not available. Here are 35-acres of all cover, with easy access off I75, close to Jackson Center, and next to a 49-acre Nature Preserve. The cons to this property are: It was heavily select cut in 2020 and has grown up into a jungle. It will take some work to make some trails and set up your hunting spots. The pros are: IT IS NEXT TO A 49-ACRE NATURE PRESERVE!!! You technically control 84-acres of cover, with over half being a sanctuary. There are good deer numbers in this area, along with some turkeys. During gun season every big buck should be heading for this parcel. Also, this property should have a ton of deer here late season. There is a trail along the edge of the preserve, that if you clean up, will give you access all the way to the north end. Make a few openings in your cover, and open some trails for the deer, and you should control them right to your stand. The nature preserve was loaded with white oaks. I pushed deer all around me during inspection but could not tell what they were. Respectful ATV use ok for hunting purposes only once you open up some trails. No place to camp. Everything you need is within 15 minutes in Wapakoneta, Sidney, or Indian Lake. If you are from Michigan, Ft Wayne, or Toledo, this could be your spot to shoot a few Studs!!
