This is a good farm with 12 acres of woods and more cover consisting of a strip in CRP.
Access is from the South and you will have to parallel park along the county road. Easy to walk in.
When I got back to the woods I bumped a really good buck. I seen his bed and there was sign indicating this is where he will be until something changes. Great opportunity to hunt this buck October 1.
Later as I walked along the west edge I seen a group of deer take off to the North. The timber has some neat terrain changes which I like to see. A ditch does go through and will have seasonal rain water at times.
Good farm to pickup BCL members! Great landowner as well.
There is not a good Turkey population here. You are not allowed to Turkey hunt in the Fall or Spring.
If a good population returns the owner will entertain hunting birds.
Owner retains the right to Morel Mushroom hunt in the Spring.
Stay off the field with any vehicle while the crops are in
Avoid damaging any crops or CRP
