118-acre 2024 rifle deer hunting lease in Jackson County. The northeastern corner of Jackson County is closely neighboring Eau Claire, Clark and Trempealeau Counties. Wisconsin's version of the "4 corners". Per the landowner, property has had very limited hunting over the past 5 years and neighbors to the east, north and west are doing QDM. The landowner does not hunt himself but has seen lots of deer and many mature bucks over the years as he was tending to his crops. Even though hard to see on the aerial, almost the entire east, north and western boundaries have huntable areas as I tried to illustrate in my pictures.
Really nice access around almost the entire perimeter of the property. Some of this on the eastern side is through a section of pasture between the timber and agricultural fields for some horses. As you can tell by the pictures, they have limited to almost no impact on the browse and bedding along the timbered sections.
I really enjoyed my visit with the landowner and upon signing the contract, one of his children brought out a bag of freshly baked cookies that were some of the best I have ever had.
I do want to stress again that the pasture at time of listing was not allowed in any of the timbered or creek sections of the property.
This is a 2024 rifle deer hunting lease. No real areas for a food plot but the landowner is open to leaving some standing corns or beans for an additional fee paid directly to him. Currently, the landowner does not want to allow camping. Use of ATV for hunting related activities is okay when weather and ground conditions permit.
Lease ends January 1st each year.
