Deer and turkey hunting lease in Clark County. I was not sure what to make of this property when talking to the landowner prior to my visit. I was told there was logging done on western 40 acres and that this area was also pastured with some horses. We've had one of the wettest springs and summers here in Wisconsin this year and wondered what impact that might have on the property as landowner told me to bring along some boots.
He also told me that the property was loaded with deer so scheduled a day to go look. At least half a dozen times during my walk, I jumped deer that were bedding on the property. No chance to get pictures or get a good look at them due to how thick it was even in portions of what was logged a few years ago as those sections are filling in with lots of new growth.
Hoping you look at all the pictures as I started the listing with what the western side that was logged and pastured with horses, but the jewel of the property appears to be the eastern 40 acres. It's not that there are not hunting opportunities on the western 40 acres, and on which the pasturing of horses will be restricted to a smaller section during deer hunting.
As you can see plenty of trails found during my walk along with the nice open boundary along the eastern and northern boundaries of the property. Landowner does request that these not be used of shooting lanes with rifle as neighbor also respect these areas as being somewhat of area to give space between the hunters on both sides. They don't have stands right on property lines and hope whoever leases this property also shows the same respect to them.
Deer and turkey hunting lease. No food plots nor areas to camp currently. Use of ATV for hunting related activities is okay. Lease ends July 1st each year.
