Here is an Amherst County property that lies along the Railroad tracks. It has a couple creeks that meander along and through the property. Some old roadways do give access through the property but will need to be cleared out for ATV use. A small field is on the west side of the property, and it is cut for hay. Most of this property is thick younger growth but some oaks and larger timber are present. I found several good trails and tracks during my inspection. Also, during my walk through I jumped a few deer in a couple different areas. I found several old rubs, most of which were smaller. If you are willing to do some work clearing roads and working setups this tract could prove to be very productive. The property is located just minutes outside of Lynchburg. Clearing road, trails, shooting lanes, and food plots are acceptable. ATV use is acceptable for hunting purposes only. No Camping.
