This hunting lease is leased and not available. 60 acres for lease in Dane County. This is a Deer and Turkey lease only. This gentle rolling property has a good mix of habitat including mature hardwoods, oak trees, pines, open areas with CRP type grasses, apple trees, and a small creek running through it. Plenty of deer sign was present during my inspection. This included rubs, beds, heavy trails, and fresh tracks. The landowner has harvested some nice bucks from this property as can be seen in the photos. The landowner stated that there are plenty of deer in the area and would encourage antlerless harvest. There is a nice trail system throughout the property that can provide stealthy access to all areas of the lease. There are several mature trees available for possible stand locations. The elevation changes on the property can allow for some good visibility for gun hunting. Respectful use of ATV's is allowed for hunting related purposes only when weather and ground conditions permit. Respect all boundaries. This lease expires/renews on June 1st of each year. There is a small group of goats with herd dogs on the property in a moveable fence. The landowner has a small disc golf area that he uses periodically in an area that wouldn't affect the hunting. The landowner would like vehicle descriptions and plate numbers. The landowner would like a text before coming to property. No use of nails, screws, or screw in tree steps is allowed. No tree cutting. No predator hunting.
