This hunting lease is leased and not available. 39 acres in Shawano County. This is a Deer and Turkey lease. This is a great opportunity for a property that hasn't been hunted for several years. The amount of deer sign present during my inspection proves that. Several trails, tracks, rubs, and beds were abundant throughout the property. A couple of deer were jumped from their beds as I traveled through the property. The property has a mix of habitat including hardwoods, pines, spruce, cedars, a small creek, and crop ground. The crop ground is scheduled for corn in 2025. There is an overgrown road on the east side of the property that the landowner is trying to gain access with. Respectful use of ATVs is allowed for hunting related purposes only. The landowner is ok with elevated blinds for hunting. He seems like a great guy and is willing to help make the hunt go great. There are plenty of mature trees for stand locations as well. Don't disregard the small, wooded area on the front of the property, there was a lot of sign in this area. It seems that this could be a travel corridor between bigger pieces of timber. The landowner lives very close and will keep an eye on the property. Respect all boundaries. No use of nails, screws, or screw in tree steps is allowed.
