This hunting lease is leased and not available. Here is a nice 130-acres in Meigs County just one minute off Route 33 and only 20 minutes from Athens Ohio. This property is rolling hills that have been select cut in different areas over the years. I found a ton of sign including scrapes on every bench I walked. I don't think I could stand in any spot without seeing a rub in the timber. Plenty of hardwoods and oaks for stands and mast. Access lane alongside of hill, you may need 4x4, takes you to a nice spot to camp if you like. There is a nice covered area to stay out of the weather. Respectful ATV use for hunting purposes only, and they are probably a must here. Clean up some of the old logging trails and you should have access to the whole property. The plentiful sign showed that there are good deer numbers here. Turkeys should be a bonus as well. If you like to hunt the big timber, and want a chance at one of those big Ohio bucks, then this just might be the property for you.
