This hunting lease is leased and not available.
I explored this impressive property in Oklahoma, both by vehicle and on foot. The area is abundant with deer, which I observed throughout my visit. I had a conversation with the farmhand, who mentioned that he frequently spots some impressive deer here, along with a significant number of hogs. He noted that the alfalfa field retains a lot of waterfowl during the winter months, and deer are often seen grazing in the fields. During my walk, I noticed clear signs of bucks that had survived the hunting season, including numerous fresh buck tracks. A creek flows through the central part of the property, and I observed several deer bedded down as I drove past. Additionally, another creek marks the northern boundary, lined with timber. The property boasts ample timber, providing numerous options for setting up hunting locations to successfully harvest a quality deer from Garvin County.
***Cattle will be present on the land***. While I was there, I observed that the wheat and the timber were separated with a hot wire fence keeping the cattle off the wheat. And also, while camping is permitted, you are conveniently close to Paul's Valley, where comfortable hotels are available. The landowner has requested that any hogs spotted be shot if possible. He recently acquired part of this property (2024) and was informed that it had never been hunted before. Each year, weather permitting, either wheat or alfalfa will be planted, creating a substantial food plot. Please refrain from driving on the fields with your vehicle.
