This hunting lease is leased and not available. The amount of deer sign on this 80 acre Clearfield property was incredible. I lost count of the number of deer I saw, and I also saw a flock of turkey during the inspection. Heavy buck sign everywhere, including 2 nice shed antlers as well. The property consists of 2 parcels, 60 acres on the north side of the road and 20 acres on the south side. It is mostly wooded, with around 3 acres of field along the north side of the road, and a clearing that was an old log landing along the south side of the road, that would make a great parking and camping spot. Mast producing oak trees were abundant on the property, and I couldn't take a step without walking on acorns. The property was select cut a few years ago and the undergrowth and saplings provide great cover and heavy browse for the deer to eat as well. A gas line runs through the north west corner, and would be a perfect spot for a hidden food plot. I was pleasantly surprised with the southern 20 acres. There is a hardwood bench on the east side of it, that overlooks a thick hardwood bowl in the bottom that had heavy deer trails and buck sign everywhere I looked. Old logging roads can be used for access around the property. This property has heavy cover, food, water, and great access for the wind, and I have no doubt that the right group of hunters will enjoy this lease for years to come.
