20 Years of QDM -- All I can say is what a farm!! This type of farm is exactly why you become a member of Base Camp Leasing, where we offer only the best! Have you ever looked at an aerial of a farm and thought "I should just lock it in now!" This is NOT the farm to hesitate on. The landowner has superbly managed these 200 acres! He's planted crab apple and cedar trees over the years. There are numerous food plots that consist of soybean and clover, which are marked on the aerial photo in round green circles. (These markings can be seen much more clearly on the Topo map).
The landowner has established two sanctuaries. I have marked one of them, which you'll see on the west side of the farm. The second sanctuary is on the north side of the farm, which is not marked on the aerial. The landowner has bush-hogged paths around the CRP so you can easily sneak in and out.
Everything you would ever want or ever need in a trophy buck farm is here: food plots, bedding, and water. This farm is holding and growing B&C bucks! The landowner has numerous mounts that show the caliber of bucks that have been harvested from this farm over the past 17 years and there are many more calling this farm home. The landowner was a traditional bow hunter and has never hunted with a compound bow and has had to let several booners walk simply because 30 yards was too far for him to release an arrow.
You may be wondering why the landowner is allowing his farm to be leased. There's no doubt the landowner was an avid hunter for years, but with recent medical conditions his hunting has come to an abrupt halt. He's now going to allow someone else to enjoy the fruits of his labor.
*All buck must be 130" or bigger.
*All deer harvested must be reported to landowner, either in person or by email with photo.
*Doe harvest is highly encouraged to continue QDM.
*4-wheeler permitted only to retrieve harvest and to hang stands.
*Fall turkey permitted with archery gear only.
*NO Screw-in steps.
*No Alcohol on farm…period.
*Lease runs from 1 August through 30 March.
