This hunting lease is leased and not available. When an opportunity surfaced to explore an island for lease, my bags were packed. Bordering Wisconsin and Michigan by the Menominee River, Eagle Island is 40 acres of very mature maple, hemlock and large towering oaks that have thousands of acorns underneath. Inspection confirmed deer are living on the island and have been for some time due to the packed trails. This Island has been off limits for the majority of the past 20 years, but is being leased for deer, turkey, waterfowl, trapping and fishing. ATVs are allowed but no fires or building of any kind is allowed on the island. Main land has a private road and area for parking. A small boat will be needed to cross the small channel of the river from parking area on the northwest side of the island. No till type food plots are okay in open areas but no trees or branches cut to try and increase the size of plot and/or open up canopy.

This property and its location on the river make it one of the most unique and beautiful properties you will find. From camping and fishing trips in the summer to hunting all legal game, this could be one of those properties that one could use almost all year long.
