Anybody looking for some muleys? I counted 40 of them in four different groups either on, or within a mile of this property on my drive in!!!
Check out the old railroad bed in pictures and just think how a feeder might look down there...
This lease is 1.5 square miles of western Kansas badlands, grass, CRP, yuccas, creeks and draws. The pasture ground is outlined in blue on the aerial picture, and cattle will be in this area part of the year. Both mule deer and whitetails could be found here, along with pheasants, prairie dogs and maybe even some antelope- I saw about 50 of them on the neighbors!. Good access from the east and north sides.
This property is located 1/2 mile from the Little Jerusalem Badlands. The 17,500 acre Smoky Valley Ranch, which is owned by The Nature Conservancy is just to the north one mile.
Looks like a fun place to rifle hunt.
Deer unit 2.
***CATTLE WILL BE ON THE PROPERTY PART OF THE YEAR, AND MAY POSSIBLY GRAZE IN THE CRP DURING DRY YEARS***
