This 3400A is part of a much bigger, working cattle ranch located in the heart of the lengendary Kansas Flint Hills. It consists of native grass on top of the hills, and some of the best funnels, pinchpoints, and creeks full of mixed hardwoods and cedars down in the secluded draws. It's hard to get a good grasp of the size of these draws from the pictures due to the largeness of the property, but the biggest draw is nearly two miles long! The lease itself is 4 miles long and 1.5 miles wide. This place is incredible!!!
The owners are looking for a group that will treat this property with the utmost respect. They want to preserve its natural beauty, so they ask that vehicle traffic be kept at a minimum. ATVs are suggested for getting down in the draws. These hills are very steep and rocky, so use caution!
There has been several 200 inch deer taken within four miles of this property in the last several years that i have heard of. I wouldn't be surprised if there were even more that I didn't hear of.
Access is from the east, off the highway or from the west, across a creek crossing. This creek has a rock bottom,and I have never had any trouble crossing it. Cattle will be on grass til early fall. The red ATVs on the aerial pictures indicate gates.
