This hunting lease is leased and not available.
Simple and productive. Those are the two words that came to mind as I walked this property. What doesn't look like much in the way of woods is actually a pretty impressive little spot in Wayne County. The small finger of woods on the south end is a long tall hill that flows down into the middle of the field. There are actually two sides to the finger itself. On the northwest side the finger slopes steeply into a small creek. I saw lots of tracks on my inspection and the summer isn't a great time to see much sign.
Access is from the north or southeast corner. From the SE corner, you can walk up the fence line and ease into a tree that covers both sides of the finger. The inside corner on the NW side of the finger looks really good to me.
On the north side of the road is a large field that is also included. There aren't many trees to get a stand in, but given the area and the deer population, we have included it. A ground blind on the west edge of the field could really produce over and over.
This is a small piece that is perfect for someone that wants to hang one or two stands and enjoy some time in the deer woods.
I encourage anyone interested in this lease to take a look at it. It will surprise you!
