This hunting lease is leased and not available. Great Indiana hunting lease! This Indiana lease will be absolutely crawling with bucks throughout deer season and especially during the rut.

The river bottoms on this lease total about 140 acres and have been put into a land wildlife management program where it can never be planted in row crops. This program was started in 2010, so the fields are growing up and creating some awesome hunting and bedding habitat. The landowner does cut a buffer along the river and down the property lines. The buffer strip that gets cut along the river and the property lines will be a great place to set up a ground blind or a tower blind and catch them coming out of their beds into the adjoining crop fields on both sides of the property.

The main wood lot is way bigger than what it looks to be on the aerial photos. It has over 200' of elevation changes in it and 3 or 4 different ravines dissecting it throughout the property. There are some rock faces that create drop offs that the deer will be funneled right around. The top fields are both in CRP at this time and had beds all in them.

The property just got select cut the summer of 2013 and will create some great bedding habitat for the deer. The woods were really open before and I think this cutting will help thicken them up some to create a more deer friendly woods. This is a great landowner to work with and he is looking for a long term group.
