This hunting lease is leased and not available.
Killer ground right next to the Indiana/Illinois line. This 57 acres is fully wooded and as hilly as you can get. Mature trees and large stands of hardwoods offer every thing you need to get in, kill him and get out.
I saw some good sign, mostly tracks and some clear travel paths. There is a small pond at the base of the first hill that has fish in it and serves as a great water source for the deer. When I walked up to it, I busted about 15 ducks..and it is a pretty small pond.
The property line actually cuts the pond in two, but Indiana state law gives you the right to fish and hunt the whole thing as long as you don't anchor on the other side or dock the boat off property.
You can see the close proximity to the Wabash river and a clear cut runs down one side of the property.
This farm is truly a honey hole, it has exactly what you need to keep Indiana giants roaming around. I also saw a large flock of turkeys during my short walk.
It seems this place might be the perfect fit for a couple of hunters that want to sit in a tree with confidence every time out.
