This hunting lease is leased and not available.
This is suburban hunting at its best. I was so close to leasing this one, it was hard to talk myself out of it. This property is at the very top of my list in my territory. There is nothing that this property lacks in what a hunter is looking when trying to hunt mature bucks.
The combination of hardwoods, cedars, creeks, corn, beans, rolling terrain, hidden fields, bedding cover, landowner on site to watch things, and the fact that it backs up to 1,000 acres of Twin Creek Metro Park make a list for the perfect setup. I have no doubt our members will fight to have this one.
Twin Creek flows into this property from the park to the north, and then goes south for a quarter mile to another county park to the south. Talk about a travel corridor!! There is great access, and the landowner is retired, stays on site, and will help you with anything you need. Every year this property has produced at least one mature buck. A couple of good hunters should each score every season here.
If you do not tag out early on the crop fields, during the rut, or during shotgun season, the 25 acres of cedars are 30 feet tall and are the perfect place to hide and set your stand for an awesome late season. This is probably one of the best late season spots I have ever seen.
Food plots are ok. No ATV or UTV use. No driving of any kind in the fields. Permission is needed from landowner before cutting any brush or trees. There are plenty of restaurants and lodging close by. I can not say enough about this property. Hunt this lease just once and you will know what I mean. Lease property lines are red and park property lines are green. If you want a chance at one of the huge bucks Ohio is famous for, then don't let this property go by.
