This hunting lease is leased and not available. This is an amazing piece of ground in Vermillion County and under 2 hours from Indianapolis. This farm sits near the Illinois border and will be an awesome place to hunt. I saw 11 deer during my inspection, including a 140. I was able to glass him from 200 yards for a few minutes as he was feeding in a small meadow between a high creek bank and the row crops. This farm is a total of 186 acres with 40 in timber and will hunt big. The pockets of fields that go up the hillside into the main block of timber on the south end gets your blood boiling when thinking of tree stand placement. You have it all at this farm with a big creek, numerous drainage ditches, steep ridges, mature oaks, secluded field edges, row crops....everything. What a great farm for archery and gun seasons.

You have to arrive at this farm on the north end, but the farmer is mowing a wide grass strip so you can walk back, or drive back, getting you near the timber. Also, there is another grass strip that winds around to get you close to the nice section of woods on the east side. The hunter that leases this will be able to use lane for access, but needs to stay off to the side while row crops are in. No doubt the first hunter to walk this farm will be leasing it.
