This hunting lease is leased and not available. This is a former dairy farm located in Jackson County, KY. This property is laid out well and should hunt great! There is a good mix of open and forested land. There are several large clover fields that the owner takes hay off of. The fields were in great shape and the clover was thick. Lots of deer sign in those fields. There are a few cows on the farm; however, the owner is willing to fence them into certain lots as long as you communicate what your needs are. The woods on this property varied from open timber to 2nd growth forest with thick understory. There are heavily worn deer trails all around the property and the owner claims to see lots of deer and turkey all the time. The owner would like to retain the small game hunting rights on the farm to allow his grandkids to come in and kill a few squirrels from time to time. There are several ponds on this farm as well, some of which have fish in them. The landowner is a good guy and just wants to be treated with respect. This farm is adjacent to a Wildlife Management Area.
