This hunting lease is leased and not available. Here is a very nice little farm being offered in Ford County just outside of Roberts, Illinois and approximately 45 minutes north of Champaign, Illinois. As you can see by the aerial photo, the deer are using this farm as a travel corridor to move from one farm to the other. The timber on this farm in some places are very thick; I put out several deer in these spots. There's a creek that runs through the farm providing year-round water for the deer. The terrain layout on this farm provides seclusion for the deer and should allow them to feel comfortable enough to feed. Upon speaking to the landowner, he told me that he allowed a gentleman to hunt the property several years ago and he harvested a very nice eight point. The landowner also stated he has consistently seen deer in the row crops and along the timber edge.
