This hunting lease is leased and not available. This Kalkaska farm is has a nice big field planted in row crops with woods on two sides. There are two other smaller fields surrounded by woods that are not used for crops so they are open for you to put in a small food plot if you choose. Neighboring properties are low and swampy. There are tons of tracks coming out of the swamps, heading through woods to the field for feeding. There are many good stand locations to set up for an ambush as they pop out for meal.

Upon inspection, I found tons of old rubs especially along the east side of the property where it slopes down to some thick wet cover. In a short late morning walk to the back side of the property I kicked up a flock of ducks, two grouse a woodcock and saw several deer leaving the field.

Camping and ATV use are allowed for hunting and scouting purposes.

This would be a great property to set up some bow stands in the woodlot and put a blind on the edge of the field for the long shot during rifle season.
