This hunting lease is leased and not available. This Hardin County, Tennessee hunting lease is a clear cut planted in pines in 2010. The thickness is providing great cover and food for the local deer herd as evidenced by the numbers of tracks and trails throughout the property. This will not be an easy hunt, but if you hunt this right you should easily fill your freezer and take a good buck or two. During my inspection I picked up a shed I estimate came from a 2 year old buck. I located some good rubs along the edges of the property where several stand locations exist, and these areas seemed to be easiest to access. Keep your options open to include tripods, ladder stands and blinds for increased hunting opportunities. Also, I saw several turkey tracks and a few feathers during my walk through. Traveling these logging roads would best be done by ATV or on foot. Most of the boundaries appeared to be well marked. Hardin County is a go to county to fill you tag, ranking #12 in overall deer harvest, or bag a big one with 25 bucks taken sporting 11 points or better in 2014. Outstanding landowners to work with.
