This hunting lease is leased and not available. This area of Ohio is mostly overlooked. This was the first time I have ever checked out a farm here, and boy was I surprised!! Every time I stepped foot in this woods deer took off in all directions. On inspection I jumped at least four groups of deer and tracks were everywhere.

This property has 40 acres of woods which connects to other timber giving the deer and turkey lots of cover. This woods has a couple good access lanes in it, as it is occasionally select cut in places. The understory has great cover for bedding and there are plenty of good stand trees. There are a couple good inside corners and a pipeline right-of-way at the west end. The woods to the east has a couple creeks running through it for water. The fields are in crops and there is a nice lane all the way back to the woods. I am fairly sure your group should have multiple chances at a few of those big bucks Ohio is known for.

If you are from Indiana, Michigan or NW Ohio this should be a perfect farm for your group if you want to keep your hunting close to home and still hunt a great place in Ohio. I have the feeling a giant or two will be taken on this property. This property is hidden and out of the way, but food and lodging are within 20 minutes. Landowner lives here to keep an eye on things. This is a deer and turkey lease only. No camping allowed.
