Close to the Logan County/Union County line, this area is what the TV personalities call Little Iowa, and hunters pay almost 5K just for a 5 day hunt with the local outfitter here.
I personally know of five 200+ bucks taken within 15 minutes of this property in the last few years. I personally hunt two properties within 15 minutes of this property, and would love to have leased this myself.
Don't let the aerial map fool you, there are 38, and 9-acre wood lots, along with 6-acres of high grass under the tower line on the east end. Add a couple other small patches of cover, along with some thick fence-rows, and you get around 55-acres of cover!! The fields are in row crops. Top it off with access from multiple directions to play the wind and hunt different deer groups.
On my inspection I jumped deer out of everywhere, and the woods were covered with well-worn deer trails going everywhere. There is a good chance at a big Tom turkey here as well. This is my favorite area of Ohio to hunt. Hotels and food are within minutes. No Camping. Respectful ATV use for hunting purposes only. If you are looking for a big farm, then take a good look at this great property in one of the best areas of Ohio!!
